Nope. This is Studio Gainax's new show. Same guys who did Neon Genesis Evangelion and FLCL, only it's more in the vein of the latter than the former. It's deliberately done in this style as a sort of a sendup to the American cartoon styles, and basically just a ride of cracktastic crude fun.

It's also the first cartoon I've seen that features a magical girl transformation using stripper poles, so if that doesn't get you off your lazy uninterested ass, I don't know what will.

Yup, Anon#559114, they are, it has been confirmed. SEASON 2 OF PSG FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I really think that the comment Panty makes here about how she'll settle... was rather uncalled for. But she redeems herself later in the episode.
