"Sexualisation" of characters through hentai is just another form of appreciation; it shouldn't take on negative connotations. Besides, it's not like it's going to linger in your subconscious, unless you have other problems.

I'm just not interested in sexualizing characters I don't already find sexy, that simple. Characters I've never even considered looking up on gelbooru and never will, and would likely not have much art anyways, like women in Satoshi Kon's stuff or any little girl characters in anything.

When the creator himself points out her huge knockers in an interview unprompted I feel like it's not much of an issue for Nausicaa, even if I don't personally think of her that way. Any female character from Studio Ghibli I don't think I can get behind because of Kushana and Eboshi though.

No exceptions. Every waifu can be sexualized as I believe in freedom. And people don't care anyway if you tell them to not sexualise some waifu, so why bother?

I don't wanna sexualize Hotaru from Sailor Moon, but sometimes the flesh grows weak.

My opinion is changing about this these days, actually. Not too long ago I thought that shows where I have an emotional connection to the characters are off limits, but these days I slowly turned into thinking that there are a lot of ways sexualizing something, and you can do it in such a way that doesn't hurt their image. However, this means that the product needs to be high quality and in-character (if it has a story, like a doujin).

For example, back in the days of it's S1 I did not like to look up stuff for Oregairu, but now I'm like, eh, some quality vanilla or some well drawn cute images don't hurt.
