My observations are completely objective and dismissing them solely due to past events, instead of logical refutations, is completely unproductive.

It might be because people would try to exploit it for points somehow, and they don't want people spamming images or screwing with tags in an attempt to get a higher gamer score on gelbooru.

If people do spammy/lazy comments, it's not too big of a deal. Those can be deleted once they're reported/noticed.
But people screwing with tags can be harder to undo. People make it hard to have nice things I guess.

In a perfect world, it would be safe to reward tagging. BUT THIS IS NOT A PERFECT WORLD.

I agree, this is the best one currently. Maybe tied with sad panda, because that one has loads of stuff. However, the organization there is not that good (or at least, not intuitive for me), the system here is better.

my only complaint is that I wish mod rulings were a little more consistent. I flagged some marvel rivals images as off topic a week-ish ago, a mod deleted them the next day but today I find a notice from a different mod telling me not to report images like them.

Not being allowed to upload multi-page comics (not everything is copyrighted)

Having to bookmark pools since there is no search by name feature

Characters not implying copyright

The blacklist doesn't have combinations

The refresh when going back

The deletion of "grotesque" posts (aka, giga mega boobs)

The "more like this" feature not having a on/off toggle

Not being able to search forum posts by user (why is it even clickable?)

And a normal average people complain; not being able to search my favs when having over 20k posts.

The inconsistency with the ''Non-Japanese/Off topic'' rule is something I never understood. A few posts of mine and others have been deleted because of this reason. I don't care about deleted posts but I don't get why, for example, a hentai video with 3D models is allowed because the artist is Japanese but would be deleted if they're non-Japanese, even if they might be similar or use the same models or whatever. The artists of these deleted posts also often still have dozens or maybe even more images made by them on this site that don't get deleted, so it's a bit confusing.
