I've said it a few times before and I'll say it again: I'd like blacklisting to actually work on the latest comments section.

I almost forgot about this since I've been doing well just adblocking the comments buttons on the front page and at the top of the page, so I never go there anymore even accidentally or absent-mindedly like I used to do. But I did used to find some good things in the latest comments section, it just wasn't worth seeing things on my blacklist, so it'd be nice if I didn't have to avoid that section because of this issue.

Still, so many people don't even tag properly before things are uploaded, at least not right away before they or more likely someone else tags them properly (if ever), so if I go to the latest posts section I also have a chance of seeing some crap. Eh, I guess I'll start adblock that button too... uploads with bad tagging can't be 100% mitigated, can't blame the site for that.

But yeah I'm surprised a mod didn't lock this yet and point everyone to the requests thread or something.

As for the best booru, I actually would say chan.sankakucomplex would still be my favourite (I also like how they have a separate idol.sankakucomplex), IF it wasn't for all the bombarding of ads and popups, and especially the shitty links to their shitty blog news pages at the top, so just due to that I prefer gelbooru.

-My complaint is the opposite of SadSap's, I think the rules for the comment section are way TOO strict and way TOO vague (I'm looking at you, rule about low quality, whatever that means). I don't really care about what other people comment, to me everything's just a jest until proven otherwise as long as it isn't illegal.

-Commenting is the only way to level up when there are so many ways to contribute to the site (forum posts, uploads, tagging, etc.).

-This whole losing comment privileges should be temporary instead of permanent. I think it's way too harsh of a punishment for first time offenders, you can increase the ban time for repeat offenders. Not even Paheal is that strict and i dislike Paheal's moderation.

-I think you should be able to delete/edit your comments at any moment, in case you made a mistake or you regret posting a comment.

-Add a Gelbooru stories section, like ATF does, don't like roleplay/long stories on the comments? Fine. Keep them contained in one place. Honestly, i don't see how having a dedicated section to appease that demographic could hurt the site. (Please add this. New year's wish.)

Nice try jimbo, but the only thing I see of shota is straight shota, which feature adult women and focus on the adult women. I'm not too bothered by that since I'm only ever focused on the big tittied women in those posts.

Also the straight shota results don't usually have pedophile ass comments like they want to "do this with their X year old family member or their neighbor's kid". I mean some do, but it's not nearly as common as loli posts.

I also think the dynamic is entirely different, but maybe that's just me.
