Long ago, in a faraway land, of dragons, elves, dwarves and monsters, lived two brothers.
one was a knight and the other, a barbarian. They both lived happily, until one day, an evil wizard killed the barbarian's brother, the barbarian, filled with rage, swore revenge against him.

Now he, an skeleton that used to be a knight while he was alive and had a brother that is a barbarian (he's the barbarian's brother, literally resurrected a day after he was killed), a witch fresh from magic university with a phd in necromancy (she's ther one that resurrected the knight), a drunk dwarf in love with explosives and a guy that just keep dying and respawning as a different character each episode (like Kenny), have to complete quests until they EVENTUALLY and BY COINCIDENCE find the wizard and kill him (which happens in the first episode).

As you may have noticed, this series is actually a comedy/spoof of DnD tropes and it is a blatant DnD campaign with a character which is a seemingly omniscient bard who is clearly the DM who the characters, in a clear 4th wall break, keep questioning when something wacky happens. Heck, even the death of the knight is treated like a mild nuisance at most considering that he was revived right away and the only negative is that he can't have sex anymore.

The gimmick/joke of one of the characters is that he is supposed to represent a noob player that keeps dying and keeps making the exact same character, but with a different name and class; the barbarian is a smart guy who uses tricks and strategy to fight; the skeleton knight is a pervert who can't have sex (and that's the actual reason he seeks revenge), is the comedic relief and likes to fight straight on; the witch is an aquaintance of the brothers who has no field experience and treats everything "by the books", despite how ineffective that is, and the dwarf is basically the demoman. The actual story is basically whatever the bard feels like each episode with hints of a larger narrative regarding the return of the demon lord.

It's not isekai, it's fantasy/comedy.

Also, what's the plot of your story?

Anyway, here's a premise I've been cooking:

In a post-apocalyptic setting (towns and cities are abandoned and taken over by plants post #7587833 ), the last human is a little girl who has a bunch of robots as protectors and surrogate family.
The robots are the last of their kind and they vary from:
- A snarky and grumpy C-3PO-esque rusty humanoid robot
- A small and cheerful BB-8/BMO-esque robot that's programmed to be friends with kids
- A beautiful human-like female robot designed like an angel, with a kind motherly personality, and who's function was to be a protector of humanity
- A big tank-bot who used to be a mindless drone meant for war until it suffered a malfunction and gained a friendly personality
- And a giant mech built to fight against kaiju, with the personality of the Iron Giant
Also the girl has one of these cute critters as a pet post #6344013

The series is a roadtrip through the post-apocalyptic world, as the girl is convinced there must be more people out there, so she leaves the safety of the bunker she's been hiding for most of her life and goes in search of other people alongside the robots, who protect her from dangers such as mutant monsters, robots locked in a kill program, and the ocassional kaiju roaming the world. They also come across some other characters, like a group of robots making their own human-free underground society, a race of half-animal mutants, a science professor who is half-human half-robot, etc.

The core of the series is the bond between the girl and the robots, who are like a family to her. While there's action and there's a story arc slowly being developed, the series is primarily a heartwarming story of a little orphan girl and her surrogate family of robots, who grow from protecting the girl because of their programming to protecting her because they love her.

This scores some originality points by being a straight fantasy, rather than an isekai fantasy. It could make for a decent sitcom. I suggest that the repeatedly dying person have the same voice actor and face, to sell the idea that each successive character is played by the same person.

Will this story be only from the fantasy universe' perspective, or might there be a parallel storyline of the characters' real life players doing things? The DnD fan film The Gamers: Dorkness Rising did the same.

~~~
I have an idea for a tabletop RPG campaign for a steampunk "cloud opera" (a space opera, but without the space), which could just as easily be given a manga or anime adaptation.
FATES OF THE AETHERSPHERE
Long ago, the Gods shattered the Earth as punishment for sins long since forgotten, condemning Man to a purgatorial existence on floating continents orbiting a howling Maelstrom. Yet Man survived, and over millennia rebuilt a civilization that now sails the cloud seas in steam-powered aetherships.
But even in this era of progress, a Prophet has emerged, claiming to bear the word of the Gods for the first time since the Cataclysm: all must submit to divine mercy to renew the world, or face final judgement. The Prophet's zealots enforce this decree through terror.
One small floating island kingdom faces the might of the Prophet's fleets. A princess must escape her home with the unlikely aid of a pirate captain, and rally the squabbling factions of the Aethersphere in resistance against the Prophet's tyranny. Oddball allies—scientists and psychics, gunslingers and sword sages—are recruited in seedy ports, enemy patrols are evaded, and long-lost ruins beneath the clouds are explored. For the Maelstrom holds many secrets that may well decide the fate of the Aethersphere...
Yeah, that's the intention, but not only that, design, voice actor, personality, it's literally the same guy, but a different name, even the characters acknowledge as much:
"Hi fellow adventurers, my name is... *pulls paper sheet from pocket and reads it* Kevin!"
"Yesterday you were Kevin"
"I meant to say... Kenny!"
(And yes, there would be a "Oh no! They killed Kenny! you bastards!" reference in an episode).
The story is fully inside the fantasy setting, with hints here and there of being a DnD campaign, like characters breaking in-game character and the fourth wall, or the bard DM making stuff on the spot when he is backed into a corner, or he asking the characters to roll for an action, sometimes with hilarious results.
This has Star Wars and Final Fantasy XII (which has Star Wars printed all over its face) printed all over its face, though to be fair, you can't have a hero's journey without taking from Star Wars, whether deliverate or not. I recommend you to play Xenogears if you want inspiration for some Elder God tier kino, but yeah, nice premise, but it needs a jaw breaking twist to fully make it a masterpiece.
Sounds pretty cool, I think what would be really cool is if during the course of the story we see how humanity didn't learn its lesson and is still committing the same heinous acts they were punished for long ago. Some characters might wonder if they deserve "divine mercy" at all, and if final judgement would be a good thing. All in all, I'd give your premise a 7/10.
My manga idea:
BIGGER IS BETTER or IT'S THE SIZE THAT COUNTS
I once saw this video where this guy was making a pitch for an anime about a girl with giant tiddies, and she meets a girl with even bigger tiddies. The video was just a joke, but I wondered if one really could write a story centered around that (of course, for all I know there could be tons of stories with that premise, but I've never heard of them). The story's an ecchi comedy, with an extremely well-endowed high school student as its main character (let's call her Yomoko). She's a haughty individual, confident in her feminine powers and wiles. Her goal is to use her body to rule the school by seducing the men and intimidating the women. She has mostly reached her goal by the time the story starts, with both male and female classmates following her wherever she goes hoping to please her and carry out her every whim. In the tradition of virtually every high school manga out there, a transfer student (she needs a name, let's call her Mai) joins her class and throws her whole world in disarray (as I'm writing this down, it's now sounding pretty lame and generic).
As massive as Yomoko's breasts are, they pale in comparison to this new girl's. Suddenly, men who were once her loyal playthings now flock in droves to this newcomer. Girls who once worshiped and served her, now huddle around Mai, who rewards their devotion with kindness and warmth, as opposed to the amused contempt they received from Mai. Yomoko sees Mai as a threat to her position as ruler of the school, and swears to conquer this enemy and dominate her as she dominates everyone else.
The actual contents of the story would probably revolve around hijinks and mayhem; Yomoko creates some sort of challenge, Mai amicably agrees (thinking it's just a friendly game), and hilarity ensues. Sometimes Yomoko creates little personal challenges for herself, that don't require Mai's conscious participation: If Mai can resist drinking water on this hot day, I don't need water either; I'll be damned if I take a break before she does; any man that confesses to Mai, I'll seduce him and make him incapable of loving anyone other than me.
I don't really have any other ideas, except for Mai's origin. When she was little she overheard her older sister talking with her friends; talking about breasts and how she wished hers were bigger, how envious she was of other girls who had curvier and fuller bodies, and how men are judged by their economic status and position in society, while women are rated by their looks and figure. On Mai's birthday next week, she made a single wish three times; once when throwing a coin in a well, once when she blew out her candles, and a final time as she saw a falling star: She wished for her breasts to always be bigger than everyone else's. The results of her wish were drastic and immediate--she woke up the next morning with a pair of breasts bigger than her own mother's. I imagine the reveal scene done with the father in the foreground screaming at the sight of his teary-eyed daughter, who is covered with a big black bar over her chest (her clothes aren't ripped or anything, but I thought it'd be funny).
From then on, her breasts would always grow in the morning if she was going to meet a woman who was bigger. The morning of her first day at Yomoko's school she found her breasts had grown yet again, indicating that there resided in the school a woman that would've been bigger.
I suppose if Mai's wish came true, I would want the world to reflect that event, and be a place where stuff like that can happen (instead of just being a funny thing that happened at the beginning and has no bearing on the rest of the story or setting). Maybe through the course of the story we see more supernatural events take place, but none involving anything too incredible or drastic; it's still supposed to be an ecchi comedy after all. For example, maybe a guy uses an ouija board to determine the color of his classmates' panties, or maybe a girl always gets good grades because she collects four-leaf clovers and the like.
As a shitpost i guess it's fine. But don't try to take it seriously when writing it. Always remember that its strength is in how insane it is.
I have another plot. It must be familiar to some of you because many of my uploads/commissions are related to this story:
post #7752017, post #7787796, post #8303170, post #8361432, post #8572132, post #8590785, post #8678193, post #8964040, post #9110788, post #9160346, post #9282188, post #9555818, post #9589595, post #9656147, post #9751167, post #9862472, post #9955253, post #10225981.
Isekai ni TOPLESS dorei toshite shōkan sareru (Summoned as a topless slave in another world. Please tell me if the EN to JP translation is correct, if i'm lucky, i hope to get a short lived manga adaptation, Not that i would get one if we're honest)
The story is about 2 girls, Monika Tatsumi and Aya Nishimura (Perhaps more depending if go through the plot of the rich ojou-sama and her two lackeys being with Monika and Aya when Aya opened the spell book that transported them into the other world) who were transported to another world after the two found and opened an ancient spellbook when they were exploring an allegedly haunted abandoned house as part of a challenge by one of her classmates, a rich and popular ojou-sama named Kamiyama Azusa.
Soon after being summoned the two were captured and sold as slaves. Monika was sold as a gladiatrix and Aya as a household maid. Now Monika have to find a chance, any chance to regain her freedom so she can go, rescue Aya and find a way to return home.
The story follow 3 POVs. Monika's POV, where she goes from gladiatrix, to the servant of a witch until she ends up as a "for rental" adventurer slave to gain money to buy back her freedom; Aya's POV as a servant of a cruel rich nobleman, from her POV we meet important characters for the story; and the plot of Elrick the adventurer and his team of slave girls: Phaeris the drow (offensive mage), Luna the Nephili (healer), Roxy the skarlet devil (rogue), and Eleanor the human (warrior) where they go and complete dungeon quests to gain money and get up the ranks (he is important for the overall plot, i promise).
Dungeons are pocket dimension zones that spontaneously appear within places like caves, forests, ghost towns, etc. That are filled with treasures, magic weapons and dungeon monsters. Dungeon monsters are artificial creatures that only spawn inside dungeons to protect its treasures, they are created by the dungeons themselves.
For the most part it's your run on the mill isekai story, following the plots of Monika and Aya, and Elrick and his team. The gimmick lies in how the enslavement spell works: All slaves are forced to wear only one small piece of cloth that can only cover a small part of the body. The enslavement spell can only be broken by giving a slave another garment, that's how you free a slave in this world, so all slaves are almost naked, only wearing a ragged loincloth at most.
The "tattoo" on their neck is the mark of a slave that forces them to obey their master's commands (with a few exception). And even if the master can't give their slaves more clothes, they can give them accessories like shackles, collar, bracelets or masks as long as it doesn't cover a large part of their body.
