Wait, so is editing the background to be transparent allowed or not?

In the site there are some arts that are edits of arts with the background removed. They managed to stay because they didn't bothered anyone.

So transparent background edits are allowed then? I'm assuming the relative lack of them is because it's hard to make it look good then.

I don't know. Some managed to stay, but is something that I didn't noticed recently.

Bet I can do a better background removal of that art that you love so much.

I don't need to bet, you said you're a graphic designer, you can definitely make a better background removal. I'm a math and writing guy, not an artist. Do it if you want to; I'd like to see it, and know it's practically guaranteed to be cleaner than mine, but I won't force you if you're not in the mood.

Also part of my obsession with thar artwork is not just that uraraka is especially sexually appealing in that picture, but that it's almost searchable with the questionable posts (I want to reiterate that my obsession with explicit/questionable ratings is searchability, not internet points) if it wasn't for the magazine she had on the floor with todoroki's dick up deku's ass. In general I don't really like seeing penises in art that aren't inside a vagina.

Thank you so much. Do you want me to do you any favors in return?

I'm late to the conversation but I'm assuming you're trying to accomplish something like this?

ibb.co/Cz4GwYC

If you want an image with transparency to be able to paste onto another image you need to use a photo manipulation program like GIMP or Photoshop that supports transparency from the get-go, Microsoft paint wont do it. You need to cut out or lasso what you want with the lasso tool and then copy that selection (ctrl-c) and then paste it onto a new layer or image thats filled with transparency. Once you do that you save the whole thing as a .png, and it should preserve the empty spaces not covered by the pasted sections as transparency.

I did that literally in roughly 120 seconds, if you wanted *just* Ururaka for example, you could take even longer to get a cleaner cutout of the subject, i just did this one super fast and dirty as an example.

I am replicating his edit. i.ibb.co/yY28T0B/EA5-FC7-...-BF6-D-02701-D0-F4972.png but something like that takes time, if you want a very clean result.

This? I did this one in about 5 min, I was gonna just edit my last post but w/e.

I could make this better if I wanted, I just did it super quick.

Edit: cropped out the magazine, didn't realize he wanted that, but its the same principle.

Idk what program you're using to make your edits but it looks to me like you're trying to cut out the area you want by literally erasing everything but that area (that is to say, with the actual eraser tool), thats why it looks so choppy and rough. You really need a program with a lasso tool, you just start at a point and click along the area or "trace" the area you want cut out, the smaller the spaces between each points, the finer the detail. Fine detail areas like the ends of hair can be tricky but thats why you use smaller increments between points in those spots, farther lines between points will end up with straighter lines along the trace.
