How do you pronounce Gelbooru? Is it G as in great or J as in jam? Also, is the emphasis on the B as in Camus or the R as in bloomers?
Hard G as in great. The site is named after it's head developer Geltas. The booru is the same as Danbooru. Since it's mock-Japanese the strongest accent is on the first syllable and a weaker accent on the third.
GELbooRU.
This assumes a syllabic 'L' that Japanese doesn't have.
Edit: Shit, now that I think about it, That 'L' screwed me up. Danbooru is the Japanese word for cardboard box basically and is a 4 syllable word.
DAnBOOru with the strong accent on the first syllable and the weak accent on the third. So I guess (if we assume a syllabic 'L') then it's
GElBOOru.
