?
It's too hard to correct tags in series of images

It's supposed to slow down unapproved mass tag editors and general mass vandalism.

It was introduced after a bot went through and added a bunch of broken html tags to several dozen thousand images.

There is an idea: the special premoderated mode.
If members selects this mode before editing, their tag edits will not implemented in real time, but will wait the approving of an moderator. The idea in that there will no delaying between edits + possibility to mass-editing tags of selected thumbnails (and the possibility to check/select thumbnails for the editing).

You can mention it in the tracker if you want to but I doubt it will float. We don't have enough moderators to make that system work right.

However, with almost a year as a registered member, 770+ edits and no ill reports; you might ask admin to become a member of the Unofficial Gardener's Guild. Just don't hold your breath because they may prefer someone who is more active in the forum (150+ posts) or IRC.

For more info read the first post at gelbooru.com/index.php?page=forum&s=view&id=1706

Honestly though, I think Dolljoints is closer to being in the guild than you are based on record.

Mostly it seems that gardeners get added based on recommendation by me the moderation team, actually.

Golly it would be great to be a gardener.

Sadly even good taggers probably get passed up because they lack proximity to the forums. Pretty much the only way to get noticed for that sort of thing.

Gelbooru moderation team was mostly forum based it seems. I don't know if they would have been noticed for what they do if they stayed out. (Only a few exceptions)

Indeed, proximity to the forums helps. Being added as a gardener usually happens on recommendation, so if we don't know you, you won't get in.

I was more active in the forums back in 2010, I haven't really been posting lately.
