Am I supposed to be getting a pop-up ad every time I click on a different page of the site? Every time I click on a new window involving Gelbooru seems to open a pop-up ad, and I have a pretty strong feeling this is NOT supposed to happen. Virus? Problem with browser? Would love to have some clarification.

If you're not saving cookies then we can't remember if we sent you an ad already or not. If you're blocking cookies then stop. This should reduce the popups you see to once-a-day.

That'd probably be why then, Chrome's been having problems with cookies lately for some reason (Even though I have cookies on.) Thanks for responding.

I think the adverts occur at certain time intervals so I also believe that opening a lot of tabs at once will trigger every single one of them to become an advert if you become due for one. Creates an illusion that the site is broken but it is just a minor issue.

It happens once a day, or each time the IP has been changed. Not that I mind, just saying.

Twice a day, actually; once every 12 hours. However, this really is effectively once a day for most people, as most people don't actually use the site enough to get both popups.

I tend to get them a bit more frequently I feel.

The intermission ones anyway. Seem to come up several times a day. I got annoyed by the way the pop-unders were hiding my task bar and had to disable them. Even though I promised to allow all advertisements. I didn't think the pop-under would bother me until they actually started appearing.
